Azi is a beautiful and talented girl, proficient in playing the Guzheng with a level-10 certificate. She participated in provincial competitions during college, and won gold and silver medals. She also has a talent for languages, speaking Cantonese, Chaoshan dialect, English, Portuguese, and other languages. While at college, she took optional courses in color matching, learned watercolor painting, and had experience with water-soluble lead. Azi was also very interested in computers, responsible for the layout, art design, and printing of the college newspapers during her college years. After starting work in 2015, she made exhibition reports for her company, and managed WeChat public accounts and website pages. Later she applied to study in New Zealand to improve her computer skills. No one imagined that such a talented female graduate was later misled into a cult and had her future completely destroyed...
Unwilling to upset her mother, the filial Azi became a follower of the "Church of Almighty God" (CAG)
Azi, a girl from Zhuhai, Guangdong Province and born in 1992, is 30 years old this year. When Azi was young, her family was warm and happy, and her mother loved her very much. However, at the age of 13, Azi discovered that her parents started to argue frequently, and occasionally unfamiliar aunts came to her home to look for her father. Not long after that, her parents divorced, and Azi chose to live with her mother.
Since then, Azi’s mother placed her hopes for life on the CAG, often going out for meetings and "doing her duty" and sometimes not coming home for days. As a smart and clever girl, Azi got used to being home alone in childhood, doing the laundry, cooking, and going to school by herself. But after all, she was a girl. Whenever it was raining heavily with lightning streaking across the sky and deafening thunders, Azi would still get scared, wrapping herself tightly in a quilt, curling up in the corner of the bed, constantly encouraging herself, and hoping that the thundering would stop soon. These life experiences created a particularly timid personality in Azi, so she lacked the courage to face difficulties in the future.
Her mother had kept instilling in Azi distorted teachings of the CAG. In 2012, her mother mysteriously told Azi: "The end of the world is coming. Only those who believe in 'Almighty God' will be blessed and saved when the apocalypse arrives." Although Azi was scared, her intelligence and eagerness to learn made her understand the importance of "believing in science". She politely declined her mother's persuasion, citing her heavy study load as a reason. However, she still felt somewhat uneasy until she spent a safe day on December 21, 2012, after which Azi finally took a deep breath of relief.
In order for her daughter to also “receive blessings and be saved,” the mother began to incessantly preach to Azi. To avoid upsetting her mother, the filial Azi, who had just graduated from college and started working, ultimately became a follower of the CAG under her mother's relentless persuasion in March 2016.
Through intimidation and coercion, the CAG organization made Azi quit her beloved profession to devote herself to cult
Azi majored in education in college. Her first job was to work as a special education teacher, training special children to rehabilitate and integrate into society. Azi, inherently kind-hearted, felt a great sense of achievement when seeing these special children (children with disabilities) gradually grow, under her meticulous nurturing and education, from a vulnerable group that needed care to those who could complete assigned tasks independently. Watching them being able to fend for themselves and realize their self-worth in society after leaving school, Azi was genuinely happy for them. However, whenever Azi shared her happiness with her mother, her mother always pensively looked at Azi and seemed hesitant to speak.
Despite her reluctance, Azi still resigned from her beloved job that month, leaving the position she had held for over two years and the children she adored.
The CAG forced Azi to "take a poisonous oath", thereby further achieving its sinister purpose of mind control
After quitting her beloved job, Azi came to the church to "do her duty" and prepare for "good deeds" under her mother's arrangement. Her mother claimed it a pursuit of a "meaningful life", while forcing Azi to write a "pledge of oath", which said: "I am willing to swear to God: Almighty God! I promise to actively cooperate with the burden and trust given to me by God, and to loyally spend money for God... If I fail, may God punish me, curse me!"
Starting from March 2017, Azi began to fulfill her duties for the church by training church members in music, composing music for lyrics, and teaching people in the organization to sing songs of the CAG, beautifying the cult organization through songs, and propagating for the CAG cult. Initially, Azi was reluctant to do these. However, when seeing her mother's sad expression and reproachful eyes, Azi became softhearted. Due to Azi's outstanding computer skills, she was also arranged by the cult organization to be the head of the church's internet group, and later the head of the community internet group. She was specifically responsible for the church members' internet usage, sending and receiving emails from overseas organizations, conveying instructions from overseas organizations, and engaging in illegal activities. From then on, Azi fell into the abyss of the cult step by step…
Persuaded by the CAG cult not to marry or have children, Azhi painfully left her boyfriend whom she loved
During the college life, Azhi's beautiful appearance and outstanding talents attracted many boys. Her boyfriend and she were classmates of the same year but different departments. That year, she was 22 years old, a sophomore. One day, they were lining up for food in the school cafeteria. He was wearing a blue shirt and jeans, coincidentally standing behind her. More coincidentally, she was also wearing a blue shirt and jeans. Due to the crowdedness, she accidentally stepped on his foot when she stepped back. She quickly turned around and apologized to him with a smile. Her long black hair, big eyes, and two cute dimples attracted him. From that day on, he believed that Azhi was the girl given to him by heaven, and he fell in love with her at first sight.
After graduating from college, Azi and her boyfriend started working. Azi didn't dare to tell him about her involvement with the CAG. Their happy times didn't last long, as their relationship was soon discovered by her mother. Her mother and several "sisters" persuaded Azi to quit from this relationship, quoting the teachings of the CAG. They said: "Some people, in their twenties, are in a hurry to find a partner. Once they find a partner, they think their sweet life has begun. But in reality, it's the beginning of suffering! The husband turns out to be a devil, starting to hit and scold his wife within days and bringing endless suffering to her! There's nothing inherently wrong with a woman getting pregnant or nursing a child, but it happens at the wrong time, a critical moment for God's work. How can you do God's work while getting pregnant or nursing a child? The waste of these best years of your life is to squander the chance for salvation." Despite her reluctance, Azi dared not disobey the "words of God." With no other choice, she painfully proposed a breakup. He was devastated and rushed to find Azi in the rain, but being ruthlessly blocked by her mother at the door…
Since then, Azi has never been in love again. Now at 30, she has no plans of settling down.
Azi sees her father, who does not believe in the CAG, as a "devil"
Azi's grandmother and father live together, and her father was not in good health. On one occasion, Azi visited them. Her grandmother who had not seen her granddaughter after a long time, was so happy that she busied herself with cleaning and cooking. Azi stood awkwardly aside, but was unable to give any help. Just then, her father walked in and scolded Azi: "In such an old age, grandma still has to clean and cook for you. Do you think you are a princess? That's outrageous!" Azi was about to argue but then thought: "The doctrine of the CAG says: “Those who do not believe in God, whether they are your parents, your spouse, or your children, are all devils... We must draw a clear line against the wicked and the unbelievers, including family members and all those whom God intends to destroy...”
Azi has always lived with her mother, feeling somewhat distant from her father. She thought to herself: "Since they've wronged me like this, I might as well draw a clear line between me and these devils and stop associating with them!" From then on, Azi never went back to visit her grandmother and father.
In November 2021, her father suffered a sudden heart attack and needed a heart stent. Before entering the operating room, her father called Azi, wishing to see his daughter. At that moment, Azi was following the arrangements of theCAG cult to train church members on computers. Torn between her father and the cult, Azi remembered the poisonous oath she had sworn to God, that is, "to actively cooperate with the burden and trust God has placed on me, and to loyally spend money for God; otherwise, I would be cursed by God." She was so frightened that she quickly made excuses about being too busy with work and cruelly refused her father!
After awakening, Azi expresses her desire to become an anti-cult volunteer, contributing to the complete disintegration of the CAG cult
Fortunately, with the help of anti-cult volunteers, Azi finally came to her senses, saying with tears streaming down her face: "I've cried during this period until I have no tears to shed. I deeply regret joining the 'CAG' cult! Without the education from the anti-cult volunteers, I would still be a tool used by the CAG cult, continuing to harm society! I have truly recognized the dangers of cults. The volunteers have freed me from those shackles, allowing me to return to a normal and beautiful social life to experience the warmth and harmony of normal human interactions. I've learned to cherish every moment, and every people and everything I encounter. I will restart my journey in life with a positive and optimistic attitude, resolutely resisting all anti-party and anti-society cult organizations. In the future, I will also join the ranks of anti-cult volunteers and make a contribution to helping others break away from the Almighty God cult!”
